1st International Developmental Play Conference in Manila

Participants will meet and learn from Dr. David Whitebread, founder of the PEDAL Institute (Play Education Development and Learning) at Cambridge University, UK; Professor Sue Jennings, founder of Neuro-Dramatic Play, Romania, Malaysia and the UK; and Caroline Essame, founder of Developmental Play, who is based in Singapore and works in the Philippines, India and the UK. Monalisa Guce, will present research and practice from the Philippines and Dr. Susan Mathew and Reddy Venkatesh will present work from India.
Participants can showcase their work and play ideas that have proved successful. All poster presenters will be expected to pay their own attendance, unless on bursaries. This play marketplace aims to showcase creative practice across the world and should fit in these categories:
Play for children on the move
Play in rural low-resourced areas
Urban initiatives in play
Play for differently abled children
Conference Support for Charities and NGOs working in Lower Income Countries
